WHO WE ARE

Evangelium21 is a network of Christians from all over German-speaking Europe, whose faith is solidly grounded in Christ. We affirm that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, are committed to reformed theology, and share a common mission to promote church renewal through gospel-centered ministry. We cooperate with like-minded ministries such as 9Marks, Ligonier Ministries, Desiring God and The Gospel Coalition.
Evangelium21 is a registered non-profit organization in Germany (e.V.), consisting of a leadership board and a council of men fully supportive of our mission and principles.

WHY WE EXIST

To Strengthen churches in German-speaking Europe
Evangelium21 exists to strengthen churches by focusing on the great truths rediscovered by the Reformers

• grace alone
• faith alone
• Scripture alone
• Christ alone
• and glory to God alone.

We are observing a lack of healthy churches in the German-speaking world and we desire to promote change by encouraging church planting, as well as revitalization and the strengthening of existing churches.

It is crucial for believers around the world today to support each other in their common mission to spread the love and knowledge of God through gospel-centered preaching just as the New Testament churches did. WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the only reliable and inerrant Word of God, and its authority is self-authenticating. Its central message is the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who died on the cross as a substitute for our sins and rose again to give us new life in Him. The biblical gospel is still the power of God in the 21st century. It alone fills Christians with genuine hope and overwhelming joy in God and causes them to radiate both of  these. WHAT WE DO

We aim to live out our mission in three ways: Connect, support and give guidance.

Connecting like-minded believers. One of the most fruitful ways to foster cooperation is to come together and learn from God’s Word, pray, worship, and fellowship. To this end, E21 hosts national and also regional conferences with both well-known international speakers like John Piper, Don Carson, Kevin DeYoung, Mark Dever, Al Mohler, Ligon Duncan, and David Platt and also faithful German-speaking pastors. We also provide platforms for women’s ministry (through Ezer21) and the youth-ministry (through our Josia network). 

Supporting younger pastors and believers for gospel-driven ministry. Through our network we aim to connect churches with potential pastors and also mentor individuals along the way, especially in their first years of ministry.
