„These are the Scriptures that testify about me“ says Jesus in John 5:39. Even when we agree about biblical theology in theory, most of us struggle with the practice, especially when it comes to the Old Testament testimony to Christ. We all too easily miss what is there, and read in what isn’t there. This seminar aims to give some practical advice on how we can understand Scripture as it expects to be understood, with a particular emphasis on the OT – reading it „forwards“ to Christ and „backwards“ from Christ.
